Bags the CSR award at 3rd CIDC Vishwakarma Awards
" Inclusive growth philosophy" gets all round appreciation

New Delhi, March 7, 2011: MARG Ltd., India's leading diversified infrastructure and Real Estate Company has become a name to reckon with in the realm of Corporate Social Responsibility. In a glitterati event in New Delhi, the company was awarded with the prestigious "CIDC Vishwakarma Awards 2011". This is the 3rd major award in CSR that the corporate has won within a short span.

The CIDC Vishwakarma Awards have been established by the Planning Commission (Govt. of India) and the construction industry to recognize and honor the valuable contribution of the Indian Construction Fraternity. The awards are meant to motivate individual and organizational contribution that has significantly enriched the construction domain and to promote the best replicable practices. The award was presented amidst an august gathering of corporates & bureaucrats by Prof. Saugata Ray, Hon'ble Minister of State, Ministry of Urban Development, Government of India at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, this evening.

MARG has been recognized for its consistent social impact endeavors, the earlier awards being South East India Cargo Awards 2010 and India Shining Star CSR Awards 2011 instituted by Wockhardt Foundation.

Expressing his happiness on this recognition, Mr. GRK Reddy, Chairman and Managing Director, MARG Ltd. said, "It is indeed a moment of pride for MARG. Some of the other recipients of the CIDC Vishwakarma Awards 2011 were Himalayan Environmental Studies and Conservation Organisation, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, NHPC Ltd., NHPC Ld., Bharat Aluminium Company Ltd., Coca Cola India etc.

The initiative of "Transforming Neighborhoods" and focus on enriching the quality of life of the community at large has been a philosophy at MARG.
